Trading Terms

These Trading Terms apply to all products and services supplied by Scenic Rim Blinds.

By purchasing from us, requesting a quote, or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices are provided in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.

  • Scenic Rim Blinds reserves the right to adjust prices if supplier costs, taxes, or delivery charges change before the order is confirmed.

2. Orders & Deposits

  • A deposit is required at the time of order confirmation, which will be calculated upon the quoting and invoicing process.

  • Orders will not be placed with suppliers until the required deposit has been received.

  • The balance is payable on the day of or before installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Payment Terms

  • We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods.

  • Full payment must be received before ownership of products passes to the customer.

  • Overdue accounts may attract late payment fees.

4. Cancellations & Changes

  • Once an order has been placed, cancellations may result in a forfeiture of the deposit and/or additional charges if materials have already been ordered.

  • Any changes to an order after confirmation may incur additional costs or delays.

5. Installation & Access

  • Customers must ensure clear access to the property and installation area on the agreed date.

  • Scenic Rim Blinds is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access, unsafe working conditions, or unforeseen site issues.

  • Additional charges may apply for extra labour or modifications required due to site conditions.

6. Product Care & Maintenance

  • All products should be used and maintained in accordance with the care instructions provided.

  • Scenic Rim Blinds is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care guidelines.

7. Warranties

  • Our products are covered by manufacturer warranties as provided at the time of purchase.

  • Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and are subject to manufacturer assessment.

  • Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or alterations made by third parties.

8. Returns & Refunds

  • As our products are custom-made to order, returns or refunds are not available for change of mind.

  • If a product is faulty or does not meet Australian Consumer Law requirements, Scenic Rim Blinds will arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with legal obligations.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, Scenic Rim Blinds is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the supply or use of our products or services.

  • Our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of faulty goods or the re-supply of services.
